Deception Bay National Events
Deception Bay is a beautiful coastal town located close to Brisbane in the state of Queensland, Australia. The town may be small, but it is rich in history and culture. Several nationally and globally recognised annual events are celebrated in and around the town throughout the year.

The event is held in late June and attracts thousands of visitors from across Australia and beyond. From giant kites to stunt kites and kite-making workshops, the event has it all.
4. Caboolture Show – The Caboolture Show is an annual agricultural event held in the town of Caboolture, just a short distance from Deception Bay. The event is held in July every year, and it is a celebration of the rural lifestyle and farming heritage of the region. The show features animal shows, horse events, fireworks displays, and much more.
5. Pine Rivers Show – The Pine Rivers Show is another annual event in the region, held in August in the town of Lawnton, not too far from Deception Bay. The event is a traditional agricultural show, with a range of activities including animal displays, horticulture, arts and crafts, and much more.
6. Redcliffe Festival of Sails – The Redcliffe Festival of Sails is an annual event held in November to mark the start of the summer season. The event takes place every year at Suttons Beach in Redcliffe, offering a fun-filled day for families. Activities include live entertainment, food stalls, fireworks displays, and, of course, the iconic sailing races.
7. Christmas Carols – The Christmas season is celebrated across the town of Deception Bay with various events and festivities, including Christmas carols. Community carol singing takes place on Christmas Eve, and the whole town comes together to sing and spread the joy of the season.
